    EISENHOWER DOLLAR PROOF PLANCHET NGC UNSTRUCK MINT ERROR
    Unstruck Type 2 Copper-Nickel Dollar PROOF BLANK Planchet.  This planchet was intended to be made into a proof Ike dollar.  The difference between blanks intended for proof coins and normal coins is that blanks for proof coins are specially polished and annealed and are therefore more highly reflective and have a "custard pie" texture of the surfaces.
