1974 Porsche 914 2.0 Limited Edition Can Am "Bumblebee"
In early 1974 Porsche offered 1000 limited edition Can Am models to capitalize on the dominating racing success Porsche enjoyed in the early 1970s. The two color options of the Can Am limited edition were produced mid February '74 through early April with all examples sent to US and Canadian markets. This example was built February, 1974, one of just 500 black and yellow "Bumblebee" versions produced. Many decades later, far fewer exist and this one is certainly a contender for the nicest, original example in existence today.
Present mileage is 59,490. Original owners manual/tool kit/jack/spare wheel & tire are with the car as are the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and the original window sticker. Current ownership dates back to 2013, with substancial maintenance records dating back to 2006.
100% originaL exterior black paint, all original yellow has been redone via powder coating. This is an unrestored and lovingly cared for Porsche 914 for sale that has been pampered since new.
