Add charm to your table setting with this bright white, English ironstone covered sugar bowl, circa 1852-1870 in the Paneled Grape pattern.  Bearing its backstamp on bottom base, Ironstone China J.F., it’s rather large standing 7 ¾ inches tall and holds up to 3.5 cups of sugar.  It features an 8 paneled pattern encircling the bowl and lid.  The handles and lid are decorated in an embossed grapes and vine motif.  The beautiful scalloped rim, slightly skirted round base and ring finial adds beauty and elegance.  This sugar bowl is everything but plain.  It’s a classy, chic antique that will brighten up any style kitchen.

Condition
: Previously owned - used.  Age is consistent with age and normal use.  No cracks.  Light crazing is present in some areas. One 1/8" chip is present on inside rim where lid rests although it cannot be seen with lid in place.  Light roughness and discoloration on edges underneath lid.  Normal wear on bottom base ring.  Some scuffs and age darkening spots (as shown).
