ESTATE FIND, reportedly purchased in the 1990s.  Very nice condition, no large holes or stains and only some very minor soil possible.
All wool Andean Indian Tari or small cloth measuring  approx. 13 x 15.5 inches
This is an all wool textile, quite nicely woven. It is made from handspun wool, hand-woven on an Andean loom.  The fabric is all wool, woven in a single panel.   The dyes appear to be a mixture of natural and synthetic.  These cloths are difficult to date, but I was told it was purchased in the 1990s. There is a simple tubular edging, fairly thin and tightly woven.  Both sides can be seen in the photos, the figural bands showing their negative image [in a weaving sense] on the reverse side.
Condition is very nice,  light soil possible, with no noticeable holes or worn spots in the fabric.    I do have this weaving in a sealed bag with a few moth balls, so it will have a slight odor when delivered.
This is an authentic indigenous woven textile, not a modern commercial product, all handmade on a traditional Andean ground loom.
