Breyer #52 Five Gaiter in matte sorrel color

Description

This very handsome model is Breyer vintage #52, the Five Gaiter in the matte sorrel finish.
My journal indicates his purchase date was December of 1980.
He does have the Breyer stamp on his inside hind leg.
He is in excellent condition. He has some stray (manufacturer) black paint marks and a couple of pin-hole size blemishes in the plastic (again, from the manufacturer). One of them is on his neck and you can see the tiny mark in one of the photos.
This was not a child’s play thing. He was displayed and then stored carefully. His ears, legs, mane, tail and face are all beautifully intact. There are no rub marks on his sides or legs. There are no cracks or repairs.
He measures approximately 10” tall and approximately 11” long from nose to extended tail tip.
