Caille double puck antique slot machine

Description

This early Caille double was found by James Julia auctioneers ten or so years on a lead they received while visiting the Chicago coin op show. Thereafter they secured it for auction from its long time home in Kentucky.
It sold via James Julias' auction to a California collector who had it restored by a well known California restorer.
It's an extremely fine example of five cent and quarter play with its original doors, locks, and very nice original finish mechanisms with stamped serial numbered mechs that match the case as the day it left the factory.  All components are original to this model and all are intact including its original music box as sold form the factory.
The majority of musical machines I've owned and seen have not had their original music boxes present when they surfaced from their initial years of use. This machine plays and pays as it should and retains all aspects of an unmolested fine example machine having survived the way only a collector could hope it would, complete and original.
