heres my old prospector...it works great. I have had it for many years, just saved all my quarters in it. its all original condition, I have won the jackpot 3 times over the last 30 years.....
I am getting old, so I don't get to play with it as much as I used to. ideal for game room fun. I think I will miss the critter after all these years its like an old friend when I get home!!
I think its from 1948, not real sure on all the technical stuff --it does have a 1950 tag on it from Montana. its a real nice antique you can play with......I think that the .25 cent is the most practical because you have them in your pocket....I have saved my quarters for years. the prospector is one of the most popular and desired units--maybe because it has the 1000 coin pay out in that extra slide out drawer....its pretty cool. i also like that you don't have to plug it in to play it....it would be cool to place some Anthony gold looking dollars in the front set up for an even nice pay off when you hit it big!!
when I got it many years ago, the story was that it was found behind the wall when a lodge was demolished....I thought that was pretty cool!
this is a real gem for sure...super sweet, genuine.
