    Description

Mapuche Pectoral of Tubes and Plates called "Sekil"
"A beautiful ornament that Mapuche women proudly wear on her chest during festive ceremonies."
It is admirable that without deploying many resources an elegant and sober result is achieved. It consists of a set marked by verticality and impeccable technique. They are rows of thin metal tubes that are sandwiched between three rectangular-shaped plates that line the length of the piece. The decoration is succinct and is a messenger of the art of the spiritual that Mapuche jewels possess, decoration that is summarized in long bluebells that hang from the lower edge of the last plate and a face cast in relief in the center of each of them. The pleasant sound of the tinkling of those pendants when they sway to the rhythm of the walk is surprising, an expression of coquetry and invocation of the benefactor spirits of nature.
This is a superb piece of consistent material, which highlights its
    impeccable handmade manufacturing
