    This lidded basket handcrafted Ye'kwana (Yekuana) is new with tag.
    The ye'kwana inhabit the rain forests in the depths of the jungle in the Caura River Basin and other tributaries of the Orinoco River in Venezuela, particularly in Bolivar and Amazonas state. They are a friendly, discreet people and possess a magic-religious relationship with life.
    This large Basket was handcrafted in Minñato fiber woven by artisan Ye'kwana Luz Maria Garcia of the Caura River Basin, Edo. Bolivar, with beautiful design and colors achieved through the fiber dyed with plants.
    Measures: The basket stands about 9 inches (23 cm) tall without the lid and 14 inches (36 cm) with the lid x 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) diameter
    across at the top and 13 inches (33 cm) at widest point.
