    Description

    Restored 1937 Mills Bursting Cherry 5 cent (Converted From Mellon Bell).
    This machine is what I call a frame off restoration, it was stripped bare and built back better 6 million dollar man style (without any new technology 🙄)
    The mech was in very good shape to begin with but I had Ted London’s team replace the reel strips and go thru it top to bottom to give it his touch, when visiting my niece near his antique museum/store in Illinois.
    New chrome on handle, cherry cover, and return cups. All done including the casting polishing (and chemical stripping) by the Famous LiBrandi’s Machine Shop of Harrisburg, PA.
    All the wood work was done by yours truly using my Gerstner restoration technique.
    It’s a real gem and full of period buffalo nickels (0 worth to be exact)
