    Description

    This is a sitting bulldog candy container.  It is 4 1/4" tall.  It is painted black on the inside with the exception of the space between the dog's legs.  I assume this was so the candy could be seen.  On that space is embossed "3/4 ounce, Avor, U.S.A."  Note: the "3" is not well formed and is often mistaken as a "2".  About 9% of the paint remains. The collar is painted gold.  There are no chips or cracks.  The original closure has a minor dent as shown.  A former price tag is from Dodson's Antiques, Duncansville. PA.
