Siwok is the Wichi Indian name for red crested woodpecker, found in the Chaco Forest in Argentina. This beautiful item is handcrafted by the Wichi Indians who are suffering loss of land and loss of income - many have turned to handcrafting beautiful items from natural hardwood and other substances found nearby in northern Argentina. This one of a kind item is finished and polished and is absolutely beautiful. 5.5 inches long at its widest point and 4 inches at its tallest point.
