    Description

    Offered here is an original Kewpie candy holder made by the George Borgfeldt Co. NY.  It is in good condition for its age. Most of the original cream color paint is gone but there is a couple remnants on the back of the head. There are no chips or cracks and the Kewpie retains the original curl on the top of his head that is sometimes chipped. On the bottom it says Geo. Borgfeldt & Co  NY.  With two patent numbers and  Serial # 2862 Net Wt 3/4 oz.  The tin lid for the barrel is missing.
